Benedetta Donato
Curator, founder and president of pianoBI cultural association, she has collaborated with art galleries in Italy and abroad. For five years she has been artistic director of the WHITECUBE3 contemporary art gallery.
For pianoBI coordinates the activities of curation and communication of exhibition projects, including: WISH_ZONE. The desire's space between art and design, 100" click 4 Change italian preview of Shoot4Change first international photography's social network exhibited in Rome and Reggio Emilia photo festivals.
In collaboration with L'Aquila and the Abruzzo region she has curated the first exhibition in the red zone by the title Solitudini/Loneliness with Vincenzo Bonanni works with was the eponymous book.
Since 2011 she works as Art Curator at Giart Srl - Art Management and Production Company that has created and produced the series Photography Italian "The Great Photographers" published by contrast, distributed all over the world.
She's responsible for the curation of exhibitions and publications by the artist Maurizio Galimberti EXTRA_VAGANTE selected as a Special Project at the MIA 2012 - Milan Image Art Fair and Paesaggio Italia, the retrospective exhibition presented in Venice in 2013 at the Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts, which has edited the Italian version of the book and the English edition Italyscapes published by Marsilio SpA
The exhibition has become a traveling exhibition, presented in several Italian and international locations. On the occasion of MIA Fair Arte Fiera in Bologna, Maurizio Galimberti Italyscapes inaugurated in January 2014 at Frassinagodiciotto with a selection of images of the artistic path made by the artist on the urban space and landscape. In February 2014 in the city of Turin has opened Sguardistantanei.
In 2013 collaborated with the ISFCI - Institute of Photography and Integrated Communication of Rome for the cycle "ITALIAN PHOTOGRAPHY. Cycle of screenings and discussions with the great masters" and Photolux - International Festival of Photography in Lucca for the Cycle "Leica Talks "moderating the meeting" Art in team "dedicated to the art and design as a creative experience shared by most professional manner Giart and Maurizio Galimberti.
