Biografia
Vanessa Rueda is a colombian born and New York based artist who studied Fine Arts at University of Andes in Colombia (2005) and then moved to United States and began to explore both countries. Her work has many ramifications. She always has been since remembers, singer, fine artist and fashion jewelry designer.
Now, she has a studio in New York. Her work as fine artist explores the relationship between routines, obsessions and femininity and the way people experience love and goals.Through drawing, fast photographs, objects and short videos her interest is totally enhancing specific everyday moments against fast paces of everydayness.
Many of her artworks are involved with stopping time and make a zoom to details of living.
Her work is being exhibited at many places in New York like Ligne Roset, Rincon Projects, Kimmel Center, Type Directors Club, It's all good among others, in Bogotá at the international book fair, El parche Gallery and around the world in England, France, Germany, Argentina and Spain.
