Biografia
Talcual, contemporary art gallery in Mexico City, supports artists with a strong and clear body of work and looks into contributing to a continuous evolution of it by promoting the creation of new ideas and various projects. Talcual brings promotion to different art projects, as well, that involve guest artists, guest curators and different projects where our artists can experiment in various ways, for instance, becoming the curator for an exhibition by other artists. Talcual also promotes projects outside the gallery such as group and solo exhibitions in different museums, institutions, art galleries, etc. and for the past year and a half has printed a trimestrial art publication, "Espejeando", for which writers form different disciplines are invited to write with no restriction or censorship whatsoever and these magazines are then distributed free of charge through museums, book stores, galleries, etc.
We are now focusing on consolidating our artists's reputation internationally through exciting fairs and exhibitions in international venues such as the Bienal do Mercosul (2013), the Biennal Online (2013), OK Corral in Copenhagen, Denmark (2013) and The Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (2011), among others.
