-the fat man series-
the beauty ideals changed during the times,
what in classic times or the baroque was beauty is now obsolete.
as an artists my ideals are different to most people and the mainstream public,
whats commonly beautiful is not necessarily interesting for my art. every body, every human, has a special beauty
and its qirks and build in imperfections make it stand out and make the person fascinating for myself.
myself is also not fitting the mainstream ideals and beeing harrassed and pressured to look like the bodies
propagated by media and enforced by the public, inspired me to do this series, opening myself to critics,
questioning aesthetics and stating that still feeling positiv is challenging,
exploring also picture ideas, which commonly idealized and heavily liked in social
networks like facebook and instagram.
