Biografia
Kerimcan Goren is a London based artist currently working with photographic materials and interdisciplinary modes of practice. His work often maintains an interest toward receptive surfaces, abstraction, and aftermath, while furthermore exploring his ongoing concerns with the ontology of photography. His latest cycle, entitled Waves of Fear (2017), amalgamates second-hand fashion imagery from his hometown with concrete plinths. Developed in response to the recent closure of Kodak’s paper factory, the work seeks to commemorate a moment in history, acknowledging a sense of loss that comes from accelerating technological shifts.
Kerimcan is currently pursuing his MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art.
