Biografia
I am Josefina Trepte, born in 1992 in Santiago de Chile. Since a child, I have always had a fascination with the world of art and artistic expression and have always encorporated this in my life through personal practice.
Later on, my passion for health and social care topics led me to study Diet & Nutrition, believing that with an understanding of this area it would be my way in which to help people improve their lives. However, during my experience working in hospitals with patients suffering from terminal illnesses, I began to reflect strongly on the concepts of our society and of human behaviour, more specifically the relationship between the two, and the consequences this relationship has on our bodies.
Afterwards, I felt a profound desire to express artistically the social and spiritual connections that transcend at this moment, understanding that my true vocation is to be able to represent these emotions through the channel of artistic expression.
Because of this, I moved to Barcelona in September 2016 to begin my artisitic studies at the Escola Massana, where I continue to learn and improve the different artistic techniques which will assist me to truly respresent these emotions and reflections through my work.
