Biografia
Sahil Bagga & Sarthak Sengupta are designers with diverse design backgrounds, who have mastered the art of synchronizing their individual skills to create objects that are reflective yet contemporary. Conception of their partnership took place in Milan while they were pursuing their Masters in Design from the prestigious design school, Politecnico di Milano.
In 2009 they started their design studio in Delhi. Since then they have transformed their ideology into a successful brand that creates projects that are beautiful, functional and “As Sustainable As Possible”. Their expertise lies in customizing products and furniture by the innovative use of Indian craftsmanship and materials. Going by the same philosophy, they introduced the “Zero Kilometer™”approach in designing commercial spaces. Recognizing their innovative business model, they were awarded the Young Creative Entrepreneur Award by the British Council India.
Their products have been widely published and showcased at various international platforms like the Trienalle Design Museum in Milan, the Asia Trienalle in Manchester and many more. In 2012, their work was selected and showcased as a part of the Cappellini Next Exhibition, during the Milan Furniture Fair. Their collections have been showcased twice at the Salone del Mobile and has been referred to as a significant product & lifestyle trend by trend forecasters such as WGSN.
Their work has received numerous awards such as the EDIDA, the IDF design awards 2013 and most recently the Asia Talents award in 2014. Since 2009, Sahil & Sarthak design team has executed various interior projects for heritage hotels, landmark restaurants, V.I.P lounges and luxury homes. Their products are available in internationally and owned by clients who are strong believers in the concept of green luxury.
