After graduating from the Dutch Pop Academy, I continued my journey and discovered painting as the best expression to share my artistic thoughts.
Biografie
Actually it didn’t came as a big surprise as I grew up with music and drawing. I am proud to tell that I already had several exhibitions in Amsterdam. And my paintings got sold, which gave me the recognition to continue this journey
I met international master painter Jamal Khamis, Professor under the Department of Arts. Khamis is a well-known international artist. He is included in the world art encyclopaedia “The World Art Collection“, which was published in march 2002. The atlas is composed by an international jury of famous curators, who selected 1001 artists from all over the world. In 2003 he was included in The Middle East Encyclopaedia and The New Netherlands Cultural Panorama Encyclopaedia.
Jamal Khamis took me as his student. Now several months later, Khamis stated: ‘I’ve given class to many students, but never so gifted as you. From now on I will call you my colleague’
