Biografia
Geert Wachtelaer is trained as a kind of filmmaker not as an artist. His work concentrates on
universal human experiences, birth, death and the secrets of the human consciousness, and found its
roots in the psychoanalytical foundation. 'Suffering' in a broad aspect is the major key in my work.
The work are crossovers between bodymouvements, landscapes and cinema.
There is also a multiple level linguistic research: visual, linguistic and musical. As long if it is lived out
and not invented. I dislike actual art, it's already outdated as so many things in the contemporay
artscene.
