Biografia
Self - taught English artist who paints more often than not figuratively. I do not like neatness or prettyness in art and am trying increasingly to reduce my work and create a cohesive message through my selection of subject matter. The beauty I like is scratched and distressed, subversive, displaced and ironic whilst at the same time remaining true to the virtues of figurative painting. I like to probe and to suggest, to reference my influences through paint application and choice of subject matter with the aim of creating a visual impact.
