Biografia

Marina Moreno is an artist originating from Venice, Italy who now resides in Bristol, England. She exhibits both nationally and internationally. She began her career as a photographer and a dance artist and later works incorporate video, animation, film, photography, live arts, dance, choreography, theatre, site-specific performance and installation.

In 1991 she received her BA in Visual and Performing Arts (Dance) from Brighton University, and holds a Masters in Art Practice and Education from BCU Birmingham in 2008.

Her interests are in the production of innovative and experimental artwork having direct interaction and dialogue with audiences. She has both directed and collaborated with many artists whilst producing and integrating into her work these many different art forms.

Her latest works focuses on the idea of Home, Displacement and the Transnational as an ideal possibility for a fluid mind-scape. Continuing on with her personal research and integration of differing art forms, she has recently examined the relationship between performance, dance and the camera by way of her multi-screen video sculptural installations.
