Biografia
I've always been interested in the human experience, and photography is one of the best ways to find the unique in the everyday. I studied Social Anthropology and Gender Studies before moving to Istanbul, Turkey to get an MA in Visual Communication Design with a focus on Photography. In America I worked as a photo assistant for the National Basketball Association, shooting the best basketball players in the world, while also assisting for various photo studios in Portland, Oregon. I am drawn to the vibrant, the uncanny and the linear. With environmental portraiture I am able to incorporate all the elements I am most passionate about: humans and their chosen spaces. Currently I am working as a co-creator and photographer at a video production company in Amsterdam as well as a freelance portrait photographer.
