Biography
Rafael Triana Pulido, born on October 27,1988 in Ciego de Àvila. Cuba.
Degree in Painting and Printmaking at Raúl Torres Academy where he graduated as Bachelor of fine arts in 1988.
Gold title in Scenic Design. University of the Arts, (ISA). Havana. Cuba. Also got the award as the best graduate student in University Extension.
Nowadays, as a designer, visual artist,and entertainer 2D and 3D. His play is being consolidating through video-art, installation, and technological art. He has participated at International Festivals,such as 3rd, 4th, and 5th FICAV edition (Cuban Video-Art International Festival), in Camagüey. Also he participated at FIVA (Video International Festival), Buenos Aires, Argentina, International Festival BANG in Spain, Ophthalmic International Festival in Mexico, and he was the winner at Imago Festival in Havana, Cuba.
He has participated in different types of collective and personal Expositions in Cuba, and out of the country, such as at Havana Factory Gallery, Salle Zèro,Cuban Art National Museum, Rubèn Darìo National Theatre, Nicaragua. In 2015, he got a Creation Scholarship, which was given by the Bòlit, Centre Art Contemporani Girona, Spain.
He is the founder of IMG project. (Isla Mapeada en Grupo), first group of Mapping Video in Cuba. It was created in Havana, 2013. He has projected in different architectural facades in Cuba and the United States.
Nowadays, he lives and works in Paris,France..
