Biography

Hye-Ryoung Min is a South Korean photographer living and working in NYC.
Her recent exhibitions include: “2014 Center Forward” at The Center for Fine Art Photography; “20th Annual Juried Exhibition” at Griffin Museum of Photography; AHL Foundation “Camera Lucida Revisited”; “Family” at the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography and the “88th Annual International Competition” Semi-Finalists exhibition at The Print Center. She was an Artist in Residence at FotoVisura Lodge. She has been awarded Winner En Foco’s New Works #18; Winner Conscientious Portfolio Competition; Honorable Mention in Fine Art at the International Photography Awards; Seoul Photo Festival Portfolio Award, and the Rising Artist Award Finalist at the Seoul Museum of Art. In NYC her work has been exhibited at: COOHAUS Art; hpgrp Gallery; John Jay Art Gallery; Greenwich House; ASMP Gallery and Photoville in Brooklyn. National exhibitions include: The Center for Fine Art Photography; Griffin Museum of Photography; MASS MoCA and the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography. In Korea her work has been exhibited at the following venues: Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA); Gallery LUX; Gallery COMMA; Sejong Art Center and the UNESCO Gallery in Seoul.
