Biography
The difference between endlessness and emptiness is packaging. My images are about the packaging of ideas, products, and people. Dilator explores this by addressing a market that has products differing greatly in price without having a luxury brand, automated external defibrillators. The goal was to apply concepts of design without limitations being imposed by function. The shapes of these are the shapes of cardiovascular emergencies; the cast from inside a fist clutching at a chest and from under the heel of a hand as it does compressions. These images are the first in an ongoing series that considers the packaging of life by embodying it in a product.
