Biography
Photographs of myself or selfprotraits in front of the mirror, to study myself and hide from otuside world. In my pictures I live a moment of intimacy and personal meditation on my thoughts. The reflection of my body while I photograph myself, is short-living. The figure has been thought as a fragment or many frames of it, then colors, shapes, point of views and context, have been elaborated and the image was then located in a new real and unreal context. At the mirror I can see my own image split in two, there is an overcoming of the mirror as a line or limit and as a protective boundary. I experiment a breakdown of the pattern, a study of the positions, a shift of a natural perspective into a distortion.
