Biography
Samuele Vesuvio was born in 1987 in Bern, Switzerland. He spent his childhood in his parents’ house in Burgdorf, Switzerland and in La Serpara, in Civitella d’Agliano, Italy. He also attended primary school in Civitella and then college-track high school in Orvieto. In 2008 he start to study art history in Viterbo, and in 2009 he dropped out of University.
His parents’ long working residences abroad familiarized him early with countries like China, Korea, and Finland.
Since 2000 Vesuvio achieved numerous collective exhibitions in Italy in Switzerland and in Germany.
In 2007 he got his own Atelier in Civitella d'Agliano, Italy, and in 2008 also in Burgdorf, Switzerland. In 2009 he published his first comic book "Time Riders" on behalf of the Tinguely Museum
in Basel, and in 2011 he presented his first solo exhibition at the "Gesellschaft Freunde Junger Kunst" in Baden-Baden in Germany called „Eruzione“.
