Biography
GB Marko Jezernik is an exceptionally complete personality and talented artist. His life philisophy is dealing with harmonisation of his native Slovene culture and joyfully creative artistic nature. His water-colours are poetic evolution, where a few theme-colours become a new value.

Jezernik's paintings are an impresionistic recording of his world view, which is passionate and rational at the same time. For this reason, according to the critic Drago Medved, water-colour is likely to remain Jezernik's favourite technique for quite some time, perhaps forever!

Visit the studio of artist and artisan Marko Jezernik for some alternative reminders of your trip. Besides propagating Piran's alternative life style – »essential« he says, »for the artists« - Marko sells satirical paintings, quirky T-shirts, and books of textual and visual impressions of life inspired by the perfect isolation of Piran; you can also pick up one of his idiosyncratic painted beehive panels. As spirited nonconformist, Marko opens when he feels like it.
