Biography
Virginia Ryan , Australian-born artist,writer,art therapist and traveller, is a graduate from the Canberra National School of The Arts in Australia (79) and the University Settlement Faculty of Art Therapy, Edinburgh (94). She has lived and worked in Egypt,Brazil,Serbia,United Kingdom,and Ghana. She is co-founder of the Foundation of Contemporary Art-Ghana and associate professor with New York University in West Africa 2005-2008. She has exhibited internationally since 1979; work is found in international public and private collections.
Ryan presently works in Italy and Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
