Biography
DAC Gallery’s activty is characterized by the collaboration with international galleries (Hamish Morrison, Berlin, Magda Danysz, Paris/Shanghai, Kuttner Siebert, Berlin, Antonio Nardone, Bruxelles) and national ones (Arte Boccanera, Trento), proving to believe into widening its horizons towards different contests and granting the artists new possibilities of cultural exchange and interaction. Much attention has been directed to the Italian scene, particularly to the outcoming artists, such as Silvia Chiarini, Silvia Noferi, Daniela Carati and Guglielmo Castelli - upcoming show in December 2010.
The gallery is an old basement composed of three barrel vaulted rooms; it is located near Porto Antico, the medieval harbour reorganized by Renzo Piano, and the old town centre Rolli houses, XVI century residences declared World Heritage by Unesco.
