Biography
Delhi-based Asim Waqif studied architecture at the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi and is at present teaching as a Visiting Faculty there. He has been a production designer for film and TV and has also worked with video. His recent projects have attempted a crossover between architecture, art and design. Concerns of ecology and anthropology often weave through his work. Select work includes: Agrasen Ki Bavdi Yahan Hai for 48C, Public Art Ecology, Delhi; Eco-Art International Residency, a six-week programme at Khoj (2007); Baans, an art installation at Khoj (2005).
