Biography
Federico Pinto Schmidt in art DiPinto was born in Orbetello on May 6, 1988. Originally Maremma, but brings German artistic influences into the blood. In fact, he spent his childhood between Porto Ercole and Eschenlohe in Germany to regularly find his father sculptor and painter, Mario Alexander Schmidt, surrounded by nature and colors in his studio-home. In addition to strong artistic sensibility, inevitably transmitted by his father, he also became a free spirit and rebellious spirit, which during his teens prevented him from completing school studies. Driven by this desire for independence, it started working without forgetting to cultivate and develop, in total freedom from self-taught, its artistic side which it sees as the only "way of escape from reality".
In 2012 he became aware of his art and grows in him the dream to live with his art as a professional painter. So begins a training course with the Liceo Artistico di Grosseto in order to refin his pictorial technique and participate in artistic selections.
Polyhedric and eclectic, always in continuous evolutionary phase, approaches the canvas with an abstract style of bold colors, dreamy fantasies and surreal combinations. In recent years, especially thanks to the collaboration of Dr. Violante Santoro, a well-established curator of events and exhibitions, has the opportunity to show his art become in different galleries of Maremma.
