Biografia
Genevieve Blais is a photo-based artist presently completing her thesis at OCAD University. Her artistic practice blurs the role of the photographer to encompass art direction, historical theory, traditional fine art and narrative storytelling. Through pastiches of symbology and iconographic tropes Blais explores convergent points between representational politics, mortality and sexuality.
