Mainly self taught oil painter, professional artist for past 16 years. Live life for today, paint for the moment. Technique is a means to an end not the end, I strive to capture energy, excitement, desire, passion. The mark is far more important than how it was made. I try to paint what I think I see, not what I see. Obsessed with finding a dreamlike electricity in large scale alla prima oil paintings.
