I live on the West Coast of Tasmania.
A unique and beautiful place at the bottom of the world...
A land with a brutal history.
Of convicts, colonisation, miners, piners and isolation.
Mountain ranges, rain, forests, swamps and button grass plains.
Wild rivers, seas and arguments.
Long beaches, hidden bays and amazing indigenous flora and fauna.
A place to get lost in... or... to find yourself...
My work evolves around themes and stories. I am interested in history; documenting community and environmental issues, reflecting a pictorial, romantic mood or an honest interpretation of the moment....giving insight into character.
