is an Italian photography project based on freedom of expression and how this expression is universally understood. The CHALANG collective was born in 2010. The collective uses artistic content to support the ongoing struggle to defend individual and collective freedom, human rights, ecological sustainability and environmental protection. The passion for this 'fight' is always projected peacefully, we should not expect and dream of peace if we do not demonstrate it ourselves.
CHALANG means Jump in hindi and for us it means to scream or yell against the walls of violence and the abuse of power.
CHALANG demonstrates a force of life opposed to violence, war, the superiority of men and the misuse of scientific and technological progress. It's a non violent criticism of our international situation and the numerous conflicts that characterise our present day.
