Jurors' Statement:
One of our prime criteria in reviewing the submissions to PhotoPlace Gallery’s Windows and Mirrors competition was a unique take on the theme. After all, the fascination with reflections in windows and mirrors has beguiled photographers since the early days of photography, so bringing a fresh view to the subject is a challenge. We also looked for images where the photographer displayed a command of the technical aspects of the image and for variety among the images we selected. This was not an easy task and we had to leave many worthy images out of the final mix for the gallery show and for the online exhibit
