Experiment experiment! This course is aimed at those with glass experience as the tutors will be encouraging participants to use both flame working and glass blowing disciplines together in order to achieve technically challenging and visually stunning light sculptures. We will travel to the National Glass Centre and use their hot glass department to blow glass forms, with plans to fill the work with gas back at the neon studio in Wakefield. Jessica Lloyd Jones and Sarah Blood are British artists with international experience in the field of filling blown forms with neon, they will be sharing their experiences during the course.
