Also this year, the Cultural Association is organizing its “Alice nel Paese della Marranella” festival, which will turn the historic Via della Marranella into a large open-air stage dedicated to visual and performance art. The festival will be an all-encompassing experience featuring installations, sculpture, dance, clowning, music, and more, which will help visitors rediscover the neighborhood and its wonders. It's theme can best be described through the great French novelist Marcel Proust, who wrote, "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” 'Alice' wants to feature original and diverse art that appeals to all the senses and that breathes new life into the neighborhood.
We are currently accepting submissions for the event, which will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
