Artist eclectic and always ready for new experiments, Augusta Bariona presents this
staff, a different trend and previous to its magical tissue.
Known by most as a teacher in the use of cards, generating delicate transparencies in which
hide infinite worlds on the edge of dream and reality, with "DRESSING" the artist likes to give
a precise characterization to each color, like a character in a story.
The paintings in the exhibition are fun, carefree and transmit that confidence with color
that belongs only to those who "feel" the art, which can shape it to their own favor,
creating new stories.
Through an artistic path that often took folds very different, Augusta Bariona
today introduced a series of past, the rediscovery of an artistic period in which the word was element
Prince accompanying color.
Mixed media, where oil and paper combine to create unique compositions, which allow
the viewer to see, materialized in front of him, the soul of those colors that always populate
the artistic soul of Bariona.
After the previous staff, in which the protagonist was literature, here the protagonist is the word,
a careful study, in key intimate, the meaning of each term; each color is a phrase, of free inspiration of the artist, the result of a deep meditation on the same color, like the memory of a friend or a description of a brother.
The precision of words mixes abstraction of forms, tapping an imaginary line
meeting in which rationality merges with the dream and the unreal.
