INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION "CORKSCREW IDEA"

ARTICLE 1 - AIMS '
Cultural associations "of ideas Corkscrew" and "Morsi Art" organized a competition for the exploitation of the Vernaccia di Oristano area, native wine gastronomic symbol of identity, culture and history of the area.
The art competition is open to all forms of art appropriate to the creation of works be placed in the windows of Oristano business and inspired by the theme Vernaccia di Oristano.
The first exhibition of all entries will be on website and Facebook profile and subsequent placement in the museum spaces of the Diocese of Oristano, for a period of about a month.
ARTICLE 2 - PARTICIPANTS
The competition is open to all artists regardless of age and nationality limits, both single and associated groups.
ARTICLE 3 - WORKS
The works entered in the competition may be made using any technique and on any type of support:
• Visual arts: drawings, paintings, cartoons, photographs, engravings, etc. (Max size 70x100 cm, adequately prepared for the installation); ceramics, sculpture (max size 50x70x100 cm, equipped with stable regent support); movies (contained on digital support), etc. The use of caskets, containers and frames is discretionary, provided they do not exceed the maximum size set.
• Literary Arts: stories, poems, riddles, anagrams, jokes, palindromes, cartoons, oxymorons, recipes, etc. (Maximum of 5 pages of 2000 characters, printed and prepared for the exhibition).
The organizers reserve the right, at the request of the competitor, to derogate from the dimensional limits set on the basis of the possibilities offered by the exhibition showcases the participating exercises.
• All entries must be accompanied by photography in digital form or in paper of good quality format (entries must be photographed on a uniform background and front).
Participants are free to agree with the operators to better promote the work on display.
ARTICLE 4 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS 'OF PARTICIPATION
Participation in the competition provides a contribution to the provision of € 10 for each work.
For students under the age of 19 years membership is totally free, subject to proof of enrollment in an educational institution.

ART. 5 - APPOINTMENT OF WINNERS AND AWARDS
At the end of the exhibition period, January 14, 2017, to coincide with the closing of the photo exhibition "Ephisj Sardu Patronu Insulae" the photographer Paolo Sanna of Oristano at the diocesan museum is scolgerà the awarding of the three winning entries.

2nd prize € 800
3rd prize € 500


Prizes will be paid together with the proclamation of winners, the 14th, in an artistic tasting evening of Vernaccia di Oristano.
The three winning works will remain property of the Association of ideas Corkscrew, which will have in the manner deemed most appropriate at its sole discretion.
The association reserves the right to exclude works that, in its sole judgment, does not fall within the stated aims of this announcement. The jury will consist of eminent figures from the world of art and culture.

ARTICLE 6 - PRIVACY AND COPYRIGHT
1) The candidate authorizes the Associations "Corkscrew of ideas" and "Morsi art", and their direct representatives, to treat the participant's personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree. 196/2003 (code on personal data protection), for purposes connected with the fulfillment and promotion of the Contest, including the dissemination in the press and Internet.
2) The participants expressly authorize the association "Corkscrew of ideas" to use the images of the works to achieve the aims of the association itself.
3) Personal data, images of the participants and the works can be used by associations for the purposes related to this contest, to promote other contemporary art events, web promotion, communication, marketing or any other form of communication and activities of 'organizer. ARTICLE 7 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF COMPETITION AND DISCLAIMER
1) The participants in the competition, with the inscription, unconditionally accept all the provisions of this announcement.
2) The decisions of the Jury Award are irrevocable.

4) The Association accepts no responsibility for any theft, fire or damage of any kind that may occur during the stages of the event. Any insurance request will be supported by the artist himself.
5) Any dispute will be treated in Italy and under Italian law. Any dispute shall be referred to the Dispute Resolution Chamber at the Chamber of Commerce of Oristano, or, as a second option, at the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari.
