The Association "Art Bites" is pleased to present "The Journey with you", the second stage of a cycle of collective exhibitions organized by Ylenia Fraioli, started with the association "The smile of Gianluca."
"The Journey with you" is the story of a journey, that of Veronica De Carolis, to which, at the age of twenty-six are diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The photographic project was born, specifically, by the need to tell a reaction, that of a girl, a woman, before the discovery of something unexpected. But not only it is' asked the artists to tell the stages of this "journey" that Veronica has dealt with you, the disease, since the discovery to date.
The works presented in the exhibition, made by professional photographers, and not, are characterized by stylistic differences, perceptive and empathic in representing the proposed theme. Each artist has spent time with Veronica individually in order to best tell emotions, feelings and moods, investigating their sensitivity and translating it into work through the medium of the camera.
Pamela Adinolfi: Photographer and Dancer graduated in Humanities with Disciplines Performing Arts from the University of La Sapienza in Rome. She studied contemporary dance by participating in courses, workshops and seminars with different choreographers. Since 2004 he has worked as an actress, dancer and assistant director to the shows the company Theatrical Fishermen whose poetry is the founder. His passion for photography was born in these years of intense theatrical activities and culminates with the foundation of the company Patas Arriba Theater which is a stage photographer. He accomplishes several photographic exhibitions in many areas including the Roman Circle of Artists and literary cafe Mangiaparole. In 2014 he meets the photographer Angelo Franceschi which became very active with photo IKONICA the founding, in Rome. In 2015 he was a finalist in the fourth edition of the photographic SCENES FROM PHOTOGRAPHY competition within the Inventaria Festival at Teatro dell'Orologio Rome, with the photographic FROM BLACK project.
Lorenzo Bove: Born in Rome February 28, 1997, residing in Rome. Student in the fifth year of high school, was introduced to photography for the game, which for the past five years has become a real passion. He attended the course in photography school for three years and last year he was a student of the photojournalist of La Repubblica, Angelo Franceschi. He has won two consecutive years the school photography contest.
Ylenia Fraioli: (Rome 1989). He graduated in Historical-Artistic Sciences in 2014, at the University La Sapienza of Rome, with a thesis on contemporary art. He approached photography in 2012/2013 thanks to a meeting took place with Angelo Franceschi, photojournalist of La Repubblica, with which he was able to develop her passion. In January 2016 he received his Master in Event and Museum Curator, at IED in Rome.
Angelo Franceschi: Photojournalist for The Republic since 1994. He has worked as a freelance with the major newspapers around the world. It created the F3PRESS agency. Recently, along with Pamela Adinolfi and Andrea Storm he started a new adventure with IKONICA, an association of photographers for photography.
Franz Welcome: (Rome, 3/18/1974). Since 2001 he works as a photographer for the chronicle of Rome, first with the messenger, then with the time and currently with The Republic. He has held street photography courses, and began his photographic career as a fashion photographer, naked and musical groups.
Yara Nardi: In 2004 he graduated from the Art School Giorgio De Chirico. In 2008 he left the university to an examination after graduation to pursue his passion: photography. In 2009 he began working with a major Roman newspaper, before moving in the agency referring to the newspaper La Repubblica. He is currently working for the news agency Press FIII, and actively cooperates with the Reuters news agency.
