ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE '
Cultural associations "Corkscrew of Ideas" and "Bits of Art" organized a competition for the exploitation of the territory of the Vernaccia di Oristano, native wine symbol of culinary, cultural and historical heritage of the area.
The art competition is open to all forms of art suitable for the creation of works placeable in the windows of businesses oristanesi and inspired by the theme Vernaccia di Oristano.
The first exhibition of all entries will be with a presentation at the Teatro San Martino and the subsequent placement in the windows of participating businesses in the city of Oristano, for a period of about a month.
And 'explore the possibilities of producing a catalog of the works in competition, in order to give more visibility to the work of the participating artists.
ART.2 - PARTICIPANTS
The competition is open to all artists regardless of age and nationality, both single and associated groups.


ART.3 - WORKS
The works entered in the competition may be made ​​using any technique and on any type of media:
• Visual arts: drawings, paintings, cartoons, photographs, engravings, etc.. (max size 70x100 cm, suitably prepared for the installation); ceramics, sculpture (max dimensions 50x70x100 cm, equipped with a stable support regent); movies (content on digital media, etc.). The use of display cases, cabinets and frames is discretionary, provided you do not exceed the maximum size defined.
• Arts literary short stories, poems, riddles, anagrams, jokes, palindromes, cartoons, oxymorons, recipes, etc.. (up to 5 folders to 2000 characters, printed and prepared for the show).
The organizers reserve the right, at the request of the tenderer, to derogate from the size limits indicated, based on the possibilities offered by the exhibition showcases the participating establishments.
Participants are free to agree with the operators to better enhance the work on display.
ART.4 - TERMS AND RULES 'OF PARTICIPATION
Participation in the competition provides a contribution to the provision of € 10 for each work.
For students under the age of 19 years membership is completely free with proof of enrollment in an educational institution.

Each artist may submit up to 3 works, all equally inspired by the theme:
"Vernaccia di Oristano"

ART. 5 - APPOINTMENT OF WINNERS AND AWARDS
At the end of the exhibition period, from October 11 to November 5, we will award the three winning entries.
1st prize € 1500
2nd prize € 800
3rd prize € 500


The prizes will be paid simultaneously with the announcement of the winners, on November 7, 2014, in an evening of wine tasting art based Vernaccia di Oristano.
The three winning entries will remain the property of the Association of Ideas Corkscrew, which will have in the manner deemed most appropriate at its sole discretion.
The association reserves the right to exclude works which, in its sole discretion, not within the purposes stated in this announcement. It is in any case available to provide any further information about the event and the location of the exhibition on the occasion of the presentation and delivery of the works and / or by e-mail, contact: cavatappi1@tiscali.it.
The jury will be composed of leading figures from the world of art and culture.

It will not respond the works are not removed within the specified time frame.

ART.6 - PRIVACY AND COPYRIGHT
1) The applicant expressly authorizes the Associations "corkscrew of ideas" and "Bits of art," as well as their direct representatives, to treat the participant's personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Code on personal data protection), for purposes related to the performance and promotion of the Contest, including the dissemination in the press and internet.
2) Participants expressly authorize the association "corkscrew of ideas" to use the images to works for the furtherance of the purposes of the association.
3) Personal data, the images of the participants and their works may be used by the Association for purposes related to this contest, other events to promote contemporary art, web promotion, communication, marketing or any other form of communication and activities of 'organizer. The address, including e-mail and phone number of the participants in the contest will not be in any case disclosed or sold to third parties.
4) For any exhibition catalog, depending on the type of the documents, it is also required to file with a text or high-resolution photos of the works (minimum resolution 300 dpi) that can be sent, or email me at the address cavatappi1@tiscali.it , morsidarte@gmail.com, morsi@pec.it, accompanied by the name and surname of the author, technique used and the size of the work.

ART.7 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF COMPETITION AND DISCLAIMER
1) Participants in the competition, with the inscription, unconditionally accept all the provisions of this announcement.
2) The decisions of the Jury Award are final.
3) The Association reserves the right to make changes to this notice. In such a case, the call will be downloaded from the website updated www.cavatappididee.it, http://morsidarte.altervista.org/.
4) The Association accepts no responsibility for any theft, fire, or damage of any kind that may occur during the event. Any insurance request will be signed by the artist himself.
5) Any dispute will be treated in Italy and under Italian law. Any dispute shall be referred to the Dispute Resolution Chamber at the Chamber of Commerce of Oristano or, as a second option, at the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari.
