Lauren Bacall is one of my favourite actresses. I am so honored that my painting of her portrait is on the cover of She and I am so grateful for painting a legend as Lauren. I will have to admit that I feel so sad because we haven't lost only an icon, but a combination of timeless beauty and style. To have and have not is one of my favourite films of it's era and Bacall is one of the main reasons. She will be missed.
