From May 27 to June 10, 2017, Lartecontinua cultural association is pleased to present the collective exhibition with works by DIANA D'AMBROSIO, FRANCESCO GIRALDI, MARY PAPPALARDO, FRANCO TIRELLI by Antonella Nigro. "AppArtenenzA" The exhibition intends to compare for the first time the four artists, who will talk through works specifically designed for space. The exhibition - curated by Antonella Nigro - The design of communicative styles and rhythms was fundamental, different but united by the many possibilities of using space as an alternative container of contemporary visual poetics.
Diana D'Ambrosio, through his sculpture, deeply analyzes the concept of space, not only in its sense of extension, surface, distance, scope of action, but also of the position and position of the object, Art in the same. Its complex research, in which primary materials such as stone, marble, tufa, iron, but also bronze and plexiglass combine in the constant search for creations that draw from inspiration and ancestral culture. The rigorous construction of the sculptural work has, therefore, a double value: geometric and equivalent for a balance of structures and a weighting of shapes and profiles, but also conceptual because it tends to the interpenetration and the harmony of the idea underlying this work Played on the equilibrium, that is, genesis, origin. By working on the stylization of often-painted shapes, the artist appears deeply interested in the symbolic and transcendental data and not the likelihood.
