Distinguishable layers for particular color characteristics from the levels directly above or below or contiguous. Specular surface flat and horizontal surface as a mirror, a puddle or a pan with mercury ....... The apparent line, mobile and dynamic, which divides the earth from the sky. The horizon and everything as the limit at which they separate, but also connect the indeterminate and determinate, the finite and the infinite.
The modern age with its geographical and astronomical discoveries eliminate the idea of the finite world, the one that ends on the horizon. The latter is transformed by the first threshold upper limit of infinity, opening up to the universe. The horizon arises, therefore, as a limit and as a conduit, such as cognitive link. The horizon is, in short, is the notion that determines how every moment of our lived experience we are open at the same time towards the past and towards the future. Space and time horizon that coincide, however, is never reached. If the voltage between the finite and infinite horizon, is a feature of every moment of our lived experience, it is consequential that there is traction in every act done and creative, as it part of life. In Art the link with the space is already compromised with time as more and interpreted and interpretable if the horizon is their encounter, we can understand how works of art are nothing but the endless contiguity of horison. The first among them the perspective that gives the beginning of modern art. The creative, prone to subjectivation of all things and phenomena, becomes the horizon just to be able to dye through it with the reality of man. It all depends on the observation point is when you limit the horizon is when you look at a painting: it seems that the sky merges with the earth, it seems that the image blends with reality. In this sense, the way of any creative is directed towards the achievement of the horizon that symbolizes the artistic mind, the achievement of the goal that fuels every fantasy. But fantasizing is to imagine, do not pluck the flower, but admired, illustrate it. And, again perifrasando Coelho, an artist can not lower his head, otherwise he loses sight of the horizon of his dreams.
