Exhibitions, Italy, Grosseto, 04 June 2011
The Church of Bigi will host the works of Paola Bardi, painter of Grosseto, from 4 to 10 June 2011. I'm the art curator and will be inaugurated on June 4, at 5: 30 pm and will be preceded by a meeting with the artist. Delicate and sensitive are the watercolors of Bardi. The watercolor is a painting which prefers the flower, landscape, marine and Bardi paints flowers, insects and human settlements, focusing her work on the relationship between nature/life. Landscapes and glimpses of dreamy atmosphere, carrying bouquets, loose or in pots, are rendered with an emotion that make them unique and inimitable but are always decorative elements because the profound meaning of his art is real, lived intensely in his expressions of joy, pain, ecstasy or peace. The works exhibited are lively and the color is used as a means of expression through which the artist talks about his character and his vision of things. Particular is the white color, in the works of Bardi, is a non-color as it is the original support and represents the space, pause, reflection.
