Since July 27, 2016, the Monumental Complex of San Severo al Pendino, Via Duomo 286 Naples will host the Neapolitan artist Maurizio Riccio, under the patronage of the Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples, where the collection will be a selection of paintings dedicated to the city, the sea and artifacts, visible up to 10 August. In "The city awakening" Riccio continues his deep and sensitive inquiry into the conflict and fascinating nature of his hometown. The artist opens his staff with large-scale works with a strong visual impact from the start by involving the viewer in an emotional awakening journey of which Naples is the creator and protagonist. His Awakening is represented by the encounter button between the elements of nature: "Earth and
Water "" Vesuvius and the Gulf ", hence the" Oceanic "concept takes shape. The latter premiered at the Village center of Berlin, is an expression of the "oceanic feeling"; the underwater world in which we are all connected and that we have a duty to protect, through the "Awakening" defined by the reach if not accompanied by the awareness of the link that every living being has with the earth and its elements.
