QUESTIONNAIRE
1. Tell us about yourself and tell us who you are and what you do:
I am convinced of not having to be me talking about me, say who they are.
So, instead, what I do and what I propose to do to achieve my goals, with the variation that often unconsciously I come across such complex situations, winding from having to "collect" all the physical and mental energy to deal and solve everything with success.
About me: I prefer to let others tell me, I leave to others reading my person, my psyche, my "I" or, my being female, Wife, Mother.
From: Interview with E. La Rosa, essayist, scholar of Art and Archaeology ... (He was assigned to the identification of the Young Man of Mothia Marsala)
It 's a fantastic journey into the world of the esoteric, being in and out, impressionism and expressionism.
What is lived in, is transmitted to others with intensive treatment and differences in colors:
- Duo made up of an inside of passions, victories and defeats, of existential problems and hopes to continue.
- A duo out of the same represented by vivid sunsets and landscapes of red fire, blue, or white as the cotton balls of clouds.
On each canvas there is the presence of the sea, lying, cadmium, silver filled to the horizon, dark as the clouds and colors.
- So we have an intense red color (in a sunset) with a sun that seems to split the sea with its reflection in the wake of the end of a summer day, burning.
- So, suddenly, an opening between the green and yellow flowers of heath introduces silver water, a backflow of charm to the metaphorical horizon
- Thus, from the clouds, looking down, we see a dark sea, while nearer to us form strange patterns of sea monsters or ghosts.
Finally, a lady, absorbed, sad, almost haunted look concerned to reach a canvas and gnarled hands, long and slender on his knees, as if waiting for someone to come find her.
I asked who he was: "a person who appears to me often, but I do not know exactly." responding. "It 'may, therefore, that boy wizard that haunts us forever? Returning to ask, maybe it's the negative aspect of human beings, perhaps it is the fear of old age and emblem of an inexorable end, perhaps it is the sunset of life ".
Of course, I'm making it out of its deep and painting, our author has wanted to dispel the very last old man, made up of memories, regrets, desires never been able to achieve, who knows? But here, she rises again:
Back to life lived as a very strong commitment to social, family, intimate world of his home and his life.
E 'commitment' of Being a true artist.
... .... Thanks Ernesto.
2.Cosa pushes you to make art?
Since childhood I have also expressed interest in the art world and, in particular, for technical drawing and painting in oils and acrylic.
Self-taught in almost all developing my own line without following a trend to refer back to any artistic movement. From the beginning balance of a bond with the unconscious, the most intimate part of my mind, my thoughts hidden, as to leave the lodge in my life for happiness through a door that I have not yet found the key.
I think the painting: "... .. the picture is a key that opens the door of our sensitivity, not all pictures can do it, but it is for us not to hide the lock. "
I express myself well on my marine, in my landscapes and faces: ".... places and faces are plausible, but are not material, I wish they were the places and faces of the soul, at least for me. "
My paintings are inner needs: projections of the unconscious, submerged or imaginary worlds where you feel the harmony between nature and living beings, peace, an inner serenity cast, according to some critics, with a chromatic sublime.
From Sagittaria I never put the "slippers", always in a rush to "grow" in my professional and private life.
3 A few words about the state of the art in your city and more generally in Italy
My account:
From an archaeological point of view, the city of Marsala is of great importance both as a Punic settlement, later, as a Roman colony. The Superintendent should, in my view, to intervene (educational tours, theme, etc ...) to publicize this heritage. Also, much of the Church requires, in my view, restoration, so it is possible to keep such buildings, intended, perhaps, to new uses (locations for exhibitions of art exhibitions, etc. ....). All evidence of age of the Risorgimento, in addition, (Garibaldi Museum, etc. .....) should be continuously enhanced, as are the "peculiarities" of the history of the city. It would be interesting if there were more exhibitions of contemporary artists, including Marsala, so that there is ongoing communication between the artistic heritage of the past and the present-
As far as Italy is concerned I think that deserves to be remembered as, despite the incredible wealth of BB.CC in our country (the richest in Europe), many archaeological sites, artifacts, and generally artistic types ( frescoes, paintings, architectural, etc ....) are in a state of deterioration.
In this regard it would be desirable to have a real valorizzazzione of Cultural Heritage AA. So that art can become a resource and a source of wealth and tourism. It would also be, in my opinion, that all 'internal exposure of Italian museums of works of art, was "accompanied" by didactic captions and more complete, as is often the visitor does not understand, nor to seize the importance of what he has just visited. Everything should, in my opinion, point to the enhancement and communicability of art, especially in a country like ours.
4 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy: do you think the chorus is important in art as a significant moment in this celebration?
Sper0 that the thread that connects our flags will serve to strengthen and
mend the gaps and give the Italians the strength, endurance and perseverance that from 1861 to date have demonstrated.
5. The spirit in which you participated in: "Three colors, a flag and a lot of artists?"
They have planned many activities for the Unification of Italy, but I decided that it wishes to join this group.
I wanted to do with conviction and spirit, with the reasons and the feelings of a Marsala timeless and without boundaries.
6. What makes you proud of our country?
I am an Italian citizen and I am proud especially when I can shout it in other countries.
7. What is lacking in our country
8.
Our country is us. It seems clear that if anything is missing we must look within ourselves.
