Galaxies - Solo Exhibition of Gianfranco Bianchi from 11 July to 13 September 2015 (with a break for holidays from 11 to 31 August) at Observatory POLIFUNZIONALE DEL CHIANTI (Web site: www.osservatoriodelchianti.it).
The Observatory Astronomical, meteorological, seismic and Geo-Environmental is located in San Donato in Poggio - Montecorboli - Provincial Road to Castellina in Chianti SP 101, km 9,250. Directions: Exit Highway A1 Firenze Impruneta, then highway to Siena, exit San Donato, direction Castellina in Chianti. Leave the car at the parking lot on the left, shortly after San Donato. Saturday, July 11 - 18.30:
Opening of the exhibition with an aperitif (free admission), conference astrophysicist Emanuele Peace, presentation of the new monograph: Anthology 2009/2015. 20 pm: Dinner buffet, guided tour of the various activities of the Centre and star gazing with telescopes and external dome (with ticket only 10 €).
The event, organized by the Artistic Director Jade Rodani, with the sponsorship of the University of Florence and the Chianti Fiorentino Union City, will be filmed by e20webtv.it
15 works on display, made with the technique of dripping (without using brushes).
