Exhibitions, Italy, Napoli, 20 June 2022
Opens Monday, June 20 at 6 p.m. at Lineadarte Officina Creativa the International Exhibition of Small Format VENTIPERVENTI quel sottile filo rosso che sorresse il mondo The event now in its 14th edition conceived and curated by Gennaro Ippolito and Giovanna Donnarumma also marks the milestone of fifteen years of activity of Lineadarte Officina Creativa. The exhibition was created as a moment of artistic sharing and comparison. Taking our cue from the ancient Neapolitan riggiole we have tried over the years to have a contemporary and in time collective vision of an identity that belongs to us and is well rooted in our culture. Over the years we have had about 2,000 creatives confronting this small format following the curatorial directions from year to year. This year a red thread will bind us , that red thread that has always bound humanity Flanked again this year by Prof. Rosario Pinto precisely in that spirit of sharing that characterizes the event has embraced this project again and his are the words of presentation of the catalog and the same.

'Tout se tient' is a current locution that points to the belief that each thing is linked to another according to a general principle of interrelation that finds its correspondence in the prescribed physical gravitational and moral solidarity.

Having said that, however, it is not clear 'how' each thing is held and here comes to the rescue another locution, that of 'fil rouge' which points to - in its fairy-tale origin - the consistency of interpersonal bonding, a biunivocal bond that would seem to mark the unavoidability of love between two human subjects beyond the temporospatial condition that separates them.

The legend of the fil rouge, in fact, explains how each of us is, in some way subjected to the sweetest of 'condemnations': that of loving.

...Another locution comes, at this point, then to the rescue, the so-called one of the 'human chain,' which gives the concept of the biunivocal bond that is tightened with the 'fil rouge' a broader extension of scope, justifying itself as an instrument of enlarged intersubjective union.

...And art plays a decisive and fundamental role in all this, since it once again leads back to the centrality of the human subject, especially now that, after the affirmation of the decisive turning point of the Historical Avant-gardes, the divarication between 'depiction' and 'representation' has been fully consummated, leaving art, precisely, the opportunity to reclaim itself.

Art, in particular, allows for the practice of a cognitive gradient in which existential pragmatics (with a path from Kierkegaard to Sartre, passing through Marxian 'liberation' and arriving at the disenchantment of Marcuse and McLuhan) can move to express their own demanding instances, delivering to the human subject a project of participatory conviviality within which the Leopardian conception, which invoked - but without believing in its realizability - a 'social chain', sees growing the cohesive force of a system in which the interconnection of so many slender 'fils rouges' builds a réseau warp of unspeakable 'resistance' .
