Winners of the LXIX BASILIO CASCELLA PRIZE 2025

The Basilio Cascella Prize, now in its 69th edition and recognized as one of Italy's longest-running and most prestigious art prizes, announced the 2025 winners during a ceremony held last November at Spazio ATLANTIDE in Ortona (CH).

The event celebrated 16 visual arts talents who explored the theme of "Imperfect Future" and saw artists triumph in the Painting and Photography categories, with special recognition for works of particular merit. The finalists' exhibition was part of the 21st Contemporary Art Day promoted by AMACI, and the works created remain available for viewing on the official website www.premiocascella.art.

- Painting, Popular Award: Aldo Inchingolo
- Photography, Critics' Award: Michela Mariani
- Photography, Popular Award: Mara Patricelli
- Honorable Mention 'B. Cascella': Monia Strada
- Special Mention 'B. Cascella' for Painting: Francesco Angioloni and Germana Genchi
- Special Mention 'B. Cascella' for Photography and Poster: Paola Rizzi

The awards ceremony was held with great participation and engagement from the audience and the winners, who were awarded unique prizes specially created for each winner by Symbolon and Imagine Fine Art.

The organizers also announced that the theme for the next 70th edition of the Basilio Cascella Prize will be announced by December, and the complete application process will be available on the website www.premiocascella.art.
