The project "Paintings, A4 and some things" is a summary of a 15 month residency program I took part in during 2014-2015 at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin.
The painting installation consists of 650 A4 size works on paper, 16 paintings and 37 Objects lying on a large table in the centre of the space.
The project deals with imagination and its limitation, attempts of free association in painting, playful painting attitudes, and a display of objects of inspiration that accumulated and gained meaning during the working process.
